Privacy

PillowFacts is operated by Delaware Goods Company LLC ("we"). This page says what the site collects, who else handles it, and how to ask about your details.

What the site collects

The pages are static. There are no accounts, no logins and no sign-up forms, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare says it does not collect or use visitors' personal data. Cloudflare also hosts the site and, like any web host, handles your IP address to deliver the pages.

Advertising

Every page loads the Google AdSense script, so ads may appear. Whether an ad appears on a page is Google's decision. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other sites.

Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendors' cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

The request form

The form on the Requests page sends what you type to a small service that posts it, as written, to the public #requests channel of the PillowFacts Discord server. Anyone in the server can read it, so leave out anything private. The form asks for no email address and no account.

To limit abuse, the service keeps your IP address in Cloudflare storage and counts your submissions (three a day). The record expires 24 hours after your last submission and is not linked to what you wrote.

Discord

The site links to a Discord server where people post test results and corrections. What you post there is visible to its members and is covered by Discord's own privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Each specification links to the maker's own page. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Who else handles your details

Cloudflare (hosting, visit counts and the request service), Google (advertising) and Discord (the server and the #requests channel). We do not sell your details.
